Margaret Penney




Margaret has twenty years experience in graphic design, identity design, web design, and packaging design. Her focus is on delivering 360-degree creative solutions customized for each client individually.

Her work experience includes positions in Florida, New York and Hong Kong. She began her career designing an early social media website for pan-Asian teenagers, which won third place at the Hong Kong Computer Expo.

With expertise in logo and branding, print and editorial, UI/UX and social media, she has a diverse range of skills that propel Hello Creative forward every day.

She has also worked extensively as a design and digital media educator. For eighteen years, she was an instructor and department head at Sessions College of Design. She was also a teacher and department head at The Masters School, an independent boarding school near New York City.

She has written about art and design for publications such as Notes on Design, Envato, New York Arts Magazine, Creative Market, Creative Bloq, and the City Paper.

Margaret’s work has been featured on Behance, Brand New, Tumblr, Envato, You Work for Them, Creative Market, MixMag, Fact Magazine, XLR8R, Creative Bloq, The Lab, Web Designer Depot, Trend Bible, High Like, The New Digital Art Biennale, Yahoo, and The Best Web Designs.
